Balmy summer breeze
bathes the parched tropic island
with salt and kisses
Sand dunes are afire
Scorches my tender muscles
with wild-fire loving
Blue hammock swinging,
enticing, hypnotizing,
beckons me to come
Long, sinewy legs
rest on black batik sarong
tanned, tired of moving
Smooth-shaven torso
muscled arms hold me tightly
locked in warm embrace
Our bodies take rest
and our minds surf mountain waves
laying on the sand
Your salty kisses,
cold beer and barbeque sauce—
My paradise lost
